How to: Make Ghirahim's Cape! (cosplay tutorial) by x3sb How to: Make Ghirahim's Cape! (cosplay tutorial) by x3sb
After watching several many a walkthrough, and scrutinizing the cape frame by frame, I dissected how the hell that thing comes together for my chibi ghirahim model, and realised "hey, this would be pretty useful information for a cosplayer!"

So I made a quick tutorial for you all! I really hope this helps out!

Ooooh the ones that hold his chain up?

Well what I did was make them from wood and then spray painted them with special shiny golden automotive paint.

Sorry about the long reply. What I did was attach a screw on the inside and simply screwed it onto the fabric. Crude, but effective.

This is great! I'm wondering though if there's a way you can take the orange part and lay it out flat like an actual pattern? I've been drawing and drawing trying to make a pattern for this part of the cape and can't quite figure it out (I suck at visualizing 2D to 3D ;-; ). Help??

Yeah, right under where I say "here is a breakdown on the top part, with an unwrapping on the left there"

On the left side, there is a grid with Ghirahim's brown and yellow diamond texture that goes on the inside. Use that to help you make a pattern. Since it is a 3D representation, try to test a few variants until it works
